My Dad taught me the power of bit by bit. Having had polio as a young boy, he always seemed to find a workaround for any physical challenge. He often said that when we did things "потихонько" — broke tasks down into attainable steps, problem solved creatively, stayed calm and went "bit by bit" (my rough translation,) we could do anything. And that’s how our students learn…bit by bit. Thanks Papa!
