Dig into the complexities of relationships with Maca & Roni
Helping our students navigate the ups and downs of relationships
Hopefully, we have all settled into 2025 β in both our personal and work lives. π In my last newsletter, I featured some activities with Maca & Roni. I heard back from quite a few of you, telling me how helpful the suggestions were, so I thought Iβd stay with the Maca & Roni theme β but this time focus on some interpersonal, social, and relationship experiences that give us great material. π€β¨
The characters of Maca and Roni remind me of Ernie and Bert β and as such, are very sibling-like. π¨βπ©βπ§ As workers in Dr. Albertβs lab π§ͺπ¬, where they appear to also live, they are constantly getting themselves into tricky situations. π One way or another, and with varying degrees of success, they seem to always extricate themselves. π While they very much care for each other, they also experience uncomfortable feelings toward each other with relative frequency. π€π Thus, Maca and Roni, and their relationship, give us great social learning material!
